Working with sole traders, entrepreneurs from start-up and through the business planning process towards SMART objectives. For existing businesses – to evaluate their position in the marketplace and if necessary, reposition their business to harness new business opportunities for future growth; develop existing and new products/services towards longer-term sustainability using critical path analysis, business development models such as change management, leadership and management, team building and development of organisational policy.

Service and delivery support for community consultation for the Central Salford Urban Regeneration Company (URC) and writing the evaluation report ‘Vision and Framework for Central Salford” jointly with the University of Salford www.centralsalford.com. Delivery of training in communicating the Vision for Central Salford URC with 13 Community groups, a pre-requisite research project towards the planning of Salford Quays, which is now Mediacity UK.

 Worked on the ITPD for the Building Schools For the Future (BSF) project for Morgan Ashurst as their Community Consultant. Worked on the ITCD for the Building Schools for the Future (Salford) project for Capita Symonds and Worked on Carlisle, Blackburn bids for Myplace funding bids and their strategic fit into local delivery for a charity called Onside. Worked with a Charity in Ashton developing 7 social enterprises which include, a recycling company, gardening, landscaping company, a safety in the home company with GMFS, a managed workspace company, a residential gardening service, a training company.

 An experienced BID writer and has supported numerous groups, small businesses and SMEs with funding applications towards community development projects.
